JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE ELECTRIC LADYLAND – VINYL DOUBLE ALBUM

This is a fantastic copy of this legendary double album on the Polydor records label, with the vinyl in stunning excellent+ condition.

Hendrix portrait on left-hand side when opening the gatefold cover. Other UK versions have Hendrix on the right-hand side.

Gatefold cover spread has 'unwrapped/floating' gloss laminate applied. Matt print areas left exposed at the two cut edges where the vinyls are inserted. The gatefold opens to view the inner spread (glued to the outer cover's inside tabs as a separate element). Gloss laminate, exposing matt areas on all four edges. (Small sepia images of Redding & Mitchell to the right, with inside text below them. "Polydor Records" logo centred. The printer's name, Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd. London W11 to the very end of the longest text line. It’s a lovely sleeve with the original controversial artwork that retains the original atmospheric of the times in which the record was made. Later editions use different images.


Vinyl – both vinyl records are in stunning excellent condition or better and have retained their original sheen and lustre. They don’t appear to have been played or handled much. Both discs sit flat, and the labels are clean with no writing, just some minor spindle wear. Graded under a strong lamp.


Sleeve – The gatefold laminated sleeve is in very good+ condition, other than a couple of minor creases to the laminate and very minor bumping to the opening edges and overall in excellent condition, the spine is also in excellent condition, just a small patch where the laminated has lifted, in the middle and minor wear to the head of the spine, see pictures.

A lovely well-kept record that looks to have hardly been played.

Packing: - The records will be taken out of the sleeves to prevent seam splits and packed in a cardboard box.
