A very important large antique Chinese bronze altar vase with a magnificent deep patina. On the neck two Looped Kylin Hedass holding exceptional big and broad oval rings and a Frieze with Archaic Patterns. On the foot waves with hidden creatures. This vase is executed in a high quality bronze with an excellent patina.
Literature: A similar model is in the collection of the Saint Louis Art Museum, A Gift of Robert E. Kresko OBJECT NUMBER 16:2005
These vases where also executed in Porcelain, See the resemblance with the world famous DAVID VASES in the British Museum PDF,B.614
Height: ca. 50,0 centimeter (!!)
Weight: ca. 6,600 kilogram (KGS)
Condition: The object is in overall good condition, some normal wear and casting imperfections, the base is damaged, the bottom plate is re-attached with soldering during the 1960's. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.

Diogo Telles Correia demands a VAT invoice, for the full amount of his purchase and is threatening with lawyers, negative feedback, etc. from the beginning. We're trying to understand his concerns (we can not issue an invoice for the full amount (including buyers premium etc)) and there is no VAT applicable (used goods) but he doesn't understand or think he's right because of his aggression. We're not doing business with you again, and will advise anyone to stay away from you.
