Medal for the Liberation of Kosovo.
The original ribbon of that period is the Serbian Tricolor.
It has a diameter of 32 mm, made of bronze with gilding. On the front side of the badge there was a sun with the inscription "1912" in the center of the solar circle, below it was a stylized Kosovo Polje with military trophies and the Gracanica Monastery. Above the sun was the inscription “Illuminated Kosovo” (from Serbian “Illuminated Kosovo”). On the reverse side of the sign, a double-headed eagle was depicted, under it a laurel wreath, on the leaves of which were depicted the names of the places where the main battles of the wars took place: on the left - Kumanovo, Skopje, Prilep, Edirne, Veles, Novi Pazar, Debar, Shtip, Prizren, Merdare ; on the right - Bitola, Shkodra, Ohrid, Senica, Doyran, Tetovo, Drach, Elbasan, Pristina
This medal was awarded to soldiers and officers of the armies of the Kingdom of Serbia, as well as civilians, doctors and high-ranking officials who participated in the war against the Ottoman Empire.
