Utagawa Kunitoshi 歌川国利 (1847-1899)(memo)
A disciple of the third generation Utagawa Toyokuni. After the death of the third generation Toyokuni, he became a disciple of the second generation Utagawa Kunisada. His last name is Yamamura and his name is Seisuke. The name of Utagawa's painting is used, and the signatures of Kokutoshi(国登志), baiju(梅寿), Umeo(梅翁), and Umeo Michito(梅翁道人) are used. It was also called the Umeki Kuni year from 17th year of Meiji. The drawing period was from Keio (1865) to around 1896 (1896), and from around 1874 (1874) the scenery of Ginza, train carriages, famous paintings such as Mitsui Bank, as well as Kaifeng, cut-out, customs I also draw a map and a copper plate map.
