This bronze figurine represents an ibex, characterized by its slender body standing atop a small integral base. The animal's head is held up, gazing forward, with majestic horns that add a distinctive element to the sculpture. The figurine features perforation, pierced through its back.
The ibex is a wild goat species belonging to the genus Capra, notable for its impressive climbing abilities and distinct physical characteristics. Ibexes are characterized by their robust bodies, short legs, and long, curved horns, which can reach up to 1 meter in males. Their horns are adorned with ridges and are a significant feature used in mating displays and territorial battles.
