Exceptional Pre-Columbian pendant originated from the Colima region in ancient Mesoamerica from which is derived the name of the culture and present-day state located in Western Mexico along the Pacific coast. It's an extremely rare ancient talisman with special spiritual significance dated to 300 BC - 300 AD. In the past it was worn for protection, to ensure fertility, or used as an offering for deities during religious rituals.
Pendant is made of shell with a very hard structure and extraordinarily smooth surface in a beautiful creamy peach color. It has a form resembling the wing of the bird with perfectly reproduced natural streamlined shape gently falling into smooth edges. There are two drilled holes in the upper part for suspension.
It's a museum quality ancient artifact searched by collectors!
