This Kokeshi has been made by use of considerable artisan skills.

This Kokeshi was part of a collection owned by a retired Japanese lady. Fortunately she took very good care of her precious possessions. This gives another person the opportunity to enjoy the presence of this exceptional wooden doll.
Judging by the collector's age and the corroded staples in the box, this Kokeshi must be at least 60 years old. It must have been kept in the box all these years; there is no damage or discoloring whatsoever.
Size: 16 x 7 x 7 cm.
Weight: 170 gram.
