Jan Josef Horemans the Elder (1682–1759) was a Flemish painter of the 18th-century. He was mainly known for his genre scenes but he also painted portraits and historical allegories.
He was born in Antwerp. He was registered at the Antwerp Guild of Saint Luke as a pupil of the sculptor Michiel van der Voort the Elder in the guild year 1694-95 and later of the painter Jan van Pee.[1]
In 1706 he became master in the Antwerp Guild of St. Luke. The next year he married Maria Francisca van der Voort, the daughter of his first master Michiel van der Voort the Elder. Their son Jan Josef Horemans the Younger also became a painter.
He was the teacher of his younger brother Peter Jacob and his son Jan Josef. He died in Antwerp.
Very nice oil on Canvas Painting: "Group of people in front of an inn and testing the wheat or wheat ears" around 1630, hand-signed at the bottom right and provenance papers available

Scusa...dove c'è scritto che la foto è firmata dal fotografo? Dove c'è scritto questo nel testo?...dice esattamente che il timbro per la presentazione all'esame magistrale è firmato sul retro....e non dal fotografo....e la dimensione è calcolata esattamente con il cartone rigido completo per l'invio... 25x50 cm ...La tua critica è inappropriata ed è già stata segnalata a Catawiki per la cancellazione.

What do you write there and why do you rate us negatively as a sender? Any transport damage is always the responsibility of the transport company and not the sender. Each of the individual plates was packed with air bubbles and if a package between Austria and Portugal gets wet and is not handled properly, it is a case for the transport company's insurance. What do we have to do with it? I understand your disappointment when a package arrives damaged like thousands of others every day, but that's a matter of photos and clarification with the insurance company. We do not accept your review and will inform Catawiki to cancel your review. Before you write something like that you have to contact the sender and I have to file a claim. How long has this been at the airport in Lisbon? 10 days ?
