Rare - Extra Large Pez Peppermint enamel advertising sign One-sided inscription made of enamel. PEZ – a brand with cult status. The creation of an extremely fine peppermint candy in 1927 by Eduard Haas III in Austria marks the birth of PEZ – a name derived from the German word for peppermint, PfeffErminZ. The refreshing little candy turned out to be extremely popular, especially in high society. This enamel sign features the iconic Pez Peppermint - pictorial design. The inscription is used in good condition for its age. As expected for a used shop advertising label, the sign shows some slight loss of enamel around the edges and four mounting holes - Please see all photos for condition. Dimensions: width 60 cm x height 40 cm. The sign has a curvature of approximately 2 cm. It is a heavy enamel sign weighing approximately: 2,5 kg.
