A simple yet beautifully designed tsuba called 'Nogime'.
Nogi refers to the needle-like protrusions found at the tips of rice and wheat stalks. The striped pattern resembles the tips of rice and wheat, which is why this pattern is called 'Nogime' in Japan.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some areas of rust, so please look at the photos for details.
