Vintage Seiko alarm. Reference A031-5019 1977; Serial number 742 239. This is one of the first alarm watches by Seiko and it is really very solidly built. With its 42 mm in length and 37 mm in width a nice big watch, 12 mm thick. Occasionally a pixel of the second indicator disappears. Perhaps only a poor contact? All functions work well and even built-in light works as they should. Overall very well thought out watch and very solidly built. For instance, the back cover has a gap through which the additional alarm is audible, the watch has a space for the battery without having to take off the back cover off and the time adjustment simply works via a crown which has to be pulled out. Everything very sturdy and solid! The corresponding Ref Z124 steel band is in very good condition. The band is at full-length and suitable for wrists up to 23cm. There's hardly any strain on the band and it comes with the original closure. Really very neat! The battery has been renewed and the case is unpolished. Superficial scratches and overalls in wonderful condition. In short; a vintage digital Seiko classic which will only increase in value. Rarely offered. Including a copy of the user instruction!
