This exceptional limited edition of the PORSCHE DESIGN ETERNA watch was produced especially for the most distinguished employees of the PORSCHE company, by ETERNA and on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of work at PORSCHE in the 90s
The inscription on the back of the watch: - "25 Jahringes ArbeitsJubilaum - 25th anniversary of work at PORSCHE" informs that this is an absolute rarity for every collector and enthusiast of the PORSCHE brand
The watch is unique.. Very comfortable to wear, thanks to the slim profiled bracelet, it holds great on the wrist.
IMPORTANT - The watch has been worn. It has normal traces of use, minor scratches. This is not a new watch. Please look at the photos. They show the exact condition of the watch. The visual condition of the watch is decent. All functions of the watch work perfectly.
The watch was serviced and its mechanism works perfectly. The ETA 2824-2 mechanism counts down perfectly. The watch is supplied with the original PORSCHE DESIGN ETERNA case, a stamped, issued warranty card (not valid) and the user manual. Full set.
A unique item for a true Porsche fan and enthusiast
The sale offer includes a rare Porsche watch, produced in cooperation with Eterna in Switzerland in the 90s. These watches are really quite rare today and demand relatively big money, because they are so desired by both Porsche enthusiasts and collectors of vintage watches - and no wonder they are timeless in design and like all Porsche products - made and designed incredibly well, which you can expect from both Eterna and Porsche.
Porsche Design watches are typically Swiss-made, and this one features an improved Eterna movement, the ETA 2824-2. At 38mm in diameter, it’s a mid-sized watch, but feels more substantial on the wrist, the dial looks incredibly sharp with a simple, functional design, featuring a subtle date aperture, slim pencil hands, and a sporty touch of red on the central seconds hand. The cross gives the dial perfect symmetry, and the luminous hour markers complete the picture. It’s a great piece of kit with such great collectible value.
The collaboration between Eterna and F.A. Porsche in 1995 was an interesting moment in the history of both brands. The decision to create a series of watches that combined Eterna’s historical heritage and quality with F.A. Porsche’s design ethos was a strategic move to produce watches that not only embodied efficient functionality, but also conveyed the distinct style associated with Porsche products.
The watch has recently been serviced by a watchmaker. It works very well and shows the time accurately.
