Gnathian Epichisis With Winged Victory Ca. 330 - 300 BC An elegant Gnathian ware Epichisis pottery pitcher with a trefoil spout decorated with red, white, and yellow pigments. The area opposite the handle boasts main scene with a frontal representation of Nike with spread wings adorned with a radiant wreatharound the head and red painted wings. The scene is framedby bands with geometrical patterns. The globular body is covered with black glaze.
