Driade - Philippe Starck, Anne Kiesecoms - Sillón - Silla de juguete - Polipropileno
The Toy chair is designed by Philippe Starck for Driade in 1999 with a polypropylene monobloc.
A chair that is deliberately abstract in its composition. Cutted from a block, Toy speaks a language of clean, wide planes that sets it apart from other molded polypropylene chairs.

Anne Kiesecoms:
Trained in architecture and painting, I like to play with the pure lines of this armchair. I manipulate the forms to produce an osmosis between the painted image and its support. I build the images with an effort of clarity and precision. Mathematics and abstraction. The graphics and the colors I use bring a "peps" note to this armchair.
My work can be found in a lot of european, private art collectors' homes.
