The painting features a fishing boats fully laden with the days catch being hauled in by the women of a small fishing village. The artist is renowned for his humorous depiction’s which can be seen within this artwork. The painting is signed lower left and has the artists stamp verso which is signed and dated. The artist exhibited at the Salon in Paris from 1868. A beautifully small example from this famous Breton heritage artist that would grace any wall in your home. In good condition for its age.
