Scientific name: Unidentified theropod dinosaur hand manus claw - Potential Abelisaurid
Location: Taouz, South Morocco
Geological Formation: Ifezouane Fm
Age: Upper Cretaceous, Cenomanian stage (96 Million Years)
Size: 5,8cm
REF.: 1491
DESCRIPTION:
It is a truly magnificent specimen that perfectly represents the fearsome claws of the middle cretaceous medium-small sized theropods. With respect to its precise taxonomic assignment, it is very difficult to reach it because only with one isolated claw it is really difficult to differentiate between different groups of theropods. It could belong to some type of small-medium sized theropod. Probably it belongs to Abelisauridae family.
Observations: Nice specimen althought it has several glued and restored fractures by filling method.
All our fossils comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
