Presenting a Rare Find in the world of UK Power-Pop. 'The Keys Album' (Produced by Joe Jackson), is their debut 1981 album (this is the EU first pressing version).

For the uninitiated 'The Keys' were an 80s supergroup of British musicians who had a whole host of experience collaborating or writing with other famous artists, including:

Drew Barfield
(Performed in/founded bands: John Doe, The Keys (1979), The Big Heat (1983), JB's All Stars, Los Pacaminos.
Songwriter for (80's & 90's): Joe Jackson, Level 42, Cathy Denis, Paul Young.
Worked closely with Chris Parks (2) on his first solo-project Deep Water Terminal)

Geoff Britton
He was a member of East Of Eden (2) from June to December 1969. He then joined the band Wild Angels. From August 1974 to January 1975 he was the drummer of Wings (2), where he was featured on the "Venus And Mars" album. After leaving Wings, he played with Rough Diamond (2) in 1977 and with Manfred Mann's Earth Band from 1978 to 1979. In early 1980s, he joined The Keys (2)

Ben Grove
In Groups:Precious Little, The Banned, The Keys, Skaboosh

Steve Tatler
Wild Angels, The Keys

With an allstar lineup they unfortunately only released this full length album whilst they were active, plus a handful of singles. In 2021 Flash Bang Records released another LP named ''Unlocked''.
