Apple - Sealed iPod nano 3rd Gen Silver 2007 iPod

This is an auction of a very special piece of the history of Apple: an excellent unit of the third generation of the iPod nano, from 2007, still sealed in its genuine and never opened box.

The iPod nano 3G brought us the design of original iPods Classic, with its rear surface of stainless steel, its screen and its innovative Click Wheel, but now with a very thin and light design. It weights less than 50 grams, and it has reduced dimensions of 70x52x6.5 millimeters. The big innovation of this iPod nano was, apart from storage of 4 GB for 1.000 songs in your pocket, the capacity for saving up to 3.500 photos and up to 4 hours of video. It was a very powerful iPod with a small and light design!

Now, 17 years later from the release of the iPod nano 3G, you have the chance of bidding for this completely new silver unit, still in its sealed and never opened box. It is a vintage electronics collectible, very hard to find. Good luck in the auction!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The Apple iPods of this era were packed in methacrylate cases, and sealed with transparent seals on the top and bottom faces of the case, as you can see in the pictures of this unit. The top seal of these cases had a grey arrow that you had to pull to open the iPod when you bought it. Sometimes, this grey arrow was applied by the Apple factory slightly out of the case dimensions. This unit of iPod nano is one of these cases, Apple put the grey arrow a little out of the case, so with the years the arrow has been slightly lifted in that corner due to be stored in a box, but the seal has never pulled and opened. If you examine the pictures of the top face of the case with detail, you can check that the seal has never been opened, confirming that this iPod nano from 2007 is completely new and sealed.

Given that this unit has never been opened and turned on, it has not been activated, it has not been connected to any computer with iTunes and Apple cannot give an exact purchase date for this serial number 7K8255TJY0P, but surely is from 2007 or 2008 because it was only produced in these years. No sealed 3rd Gen iPods nano show the purchase date in the Apple Check Coverage service. I have contacted with Apple Customer Service and they have confirmed me that these devices needed to be activated previously in order to show the purchase date in the Apple website.
