This model aptly named "NEW MOON," boasts an elegant all-black color combination. It also features a Bioceramic case, crown, and pushers, as well as a VELCRO strap. The chronograph second hand, the sub-dial hands, and the tachymeter scale are white. The sub-dials and the bezel are black.
This model stands out for its black moon phase function, probably the most poetic of all watch complications. Snoopy, NASA's safety ambassador since the 1960s, is depicted lying on the moon phase disk, which rotates in the sub-dial at 2 o’clock. Under UV light, a hidden Snoopy comic strip quote, set among crescent moons and stars, is revealed on the exclusive sub-dial.
All the dials in the collection are marked with the OMEGA X Swatch branding, the iconic Speedmaster logo, and the MoonSwatch logo. The watch also features the distinctive characteristics common to all models: biosourced glass with the engraved and integrated "S" at the center, referencing the Swatch logo, the refined and elegant circular pattern on the outer ring of the dial and the recessed sub-dials, the angular and harmonious structure of the lugs, the iconic "dot over 90" detail on the tachymeter scale, and, of course, the unique tactile sensation of Bioceramic.
