Midleton Very Rare is blended from 12-33 year old whiskeys and is one of the most exclusive whiskeys ever distilled in Ireland. The Master Distiller of Midleton Distillery, has hand-picked the special blend of single-pot still and grain whiskies. The maturation of the noble drop took place in lightly charred former American oak bourbon barrels. Tasting notes:Color: amber. Nose: Citrus nuances, candied apples, nutmeg notes, pepper, caramel, hazelnut chocolate, charred oak notes, vanilla. Palate: Fruity orange peel, toffee apples, pot-still spices, cereal notes.
