This teapot was designed by Sori Yanagi and released in 1957. It won an award at the 11th Milan Triennale. This piece was created in 2000 and is a rare piece that is no longer made. This piece was made at Takahama-yaki Juhogama, a kiln famous for producing white porcelain using Amakusa pottery stone from Amakusa in Kumamoto Prefecture. Its sophisticated lines evoke a Nordic feel, making it hard to believe it was designed over 60 years ago.
