The first mask of Ebisu is carved from yew wood in the ittobori style and dates to the early 20th century. It is signed by the artist (Eguro) Sukenobu (Ryosei), probably Ryosei the 2nd, a well known Hida netsuke and sagemono maker. 41 mm high by 36 mm wide.

The second mask of Ebisu is pottery with some coloured glaze. It dates to the end of the 19th/ early 20th century. It is signed (stamped seal) Shinryoen a relatively rare maker of these types of pottery mask netsuke. 49 mm high by 32 mm wide.
