This is a single line of calligraphy by 'Horiuchi Sōkan'堀内宗完(1919~2015), also known as 'Kenchūsai'兼中斎, the 12th head of the Horiuchi family, who served generation after generation as the grand master of the Omotesenke school of tea ceremony in Kyoto. He left many famous works of tea calligraphy. The calligraphy, written in a flowing style, becomes a hanging scroll of tea ceremony that seems to demonstrate the profound spirituality of tea ceremony in its serene tranquility. The phrase "平常心是道" translates to "The ordinary mind is the Way."
