A set of 3 very special black kokeshi, acquired from a private Japanese collector. Black Kokeshi are not often seen. This set of 3 medium sized vintage dolls come from a private Japanese collection and have different artistic designs. The 2 largest ones have the spinning top design on the crown of the head, associated with good luck and upward spiraling energy. All 3 Kokeshi have amazing detailed decorations and are in completely mint condition, estimated to be around 80 years old. They all have a beautiful shining appearance are are made of the highest quality of wood. Each Kokeshi is signed by the artist who made it, at the bottom.
