A rare large blue and white hot water jug, Kangxi (1661-1722). The pear shaped jug with bulbous body, decorated all around in underglaze cobalt blue with birds and flowering branches, tassels, ruyi heads and medallions. An elongated flowering branch climbing up the large curved handle and the bottom unmarked with a double circle.
