"Camargue" by artist André Minaux
Printed by: Les Editions Braun & Cie - 18, rue Louis Le Grand - Paris
160 cm x 240 cm
Edition of 200

In landscape format, crafted from two sewn panels, this tapestry portrays nature and birds under a full moon in dark blue, orange, red, olive green, grey, and ocher by 20th-century French artist André Minaux.

The tapestry is in very good condition, having been well cared for; its colors remain vibrant, and there are no tears. Stored folded in a shaded area, it may benefit from dry cleaning or steaming to restore it to a like-new appearance. Lined in white fabric, it remains in excellent condition.

ABOUT THE TAPESTRY
This piece from the 1950s-60s graced my father's office. He acquired it from a friend who was a genuine enthusiast of printed fabric tapestries for wall coverings in his office at the Hôpital Claude Huriez, constructed in 1934. It has been stored for the past 20 years, and we believe it can once again find a second life adorning someone's interior.

A limited edition of 200, composed of 2 panels, each marked and hand-signed by the artist.
"Camargue I" and "Camargue II"
