This is a Sendai tansu crafted to replicate the chest of drawers from the Edo period. It's made of solid keyaki (zelkova) wood and dates of 2002. The exquisite metal fittings and handles throughout emit a wonderful atmosphere. The top tier is divided into left and right sections, comprising two small drawers and two large drawers, totaling four drawers. As for the appearance, there are slight rust stains on the metal fittings. Additionally, there are scratches and dents scattered throughout the zelkova wood body. Especially, there are numerous scratches and dents on the top section. Small chests of drawers with such nails, reproducing the chests of drawers from the Edo period, are becoming increasingly rare to find.
