De de Sede DS-450 Bank, oftewel de ‘Little Bestseller’ is een tijdloos ontwerp van Thomas Althaus. Het is de bank die zich aanpast aan alles en overal. Voor Althaus was de samensmelting tussen creatieve veelzijdigheid en het reduceren tot het hoogstnoodzakelijke de essentie van de bank. Door de functionele veelzijdigheid van het design komt de DS-450 tot zijn in recht in verschillende interieurstijlen. Vele kenners zien ook gelijkenissen tussen de vintage ‘Reto Frigg’ van de Sede en dit model. Beide modellen zijn briljant, functioneel en een technische inspiratie wat betreft banken. De DS-450 wordt dus ook wel gezien als een herintroductie van de Reto Frigg met een moderne vormgeving en verfijnde technologie. Het is een ontwerp dat een futuristische impuls geeft aan de bestaande draaibanken.

De prachtige DS-450 van de Sede is een waar pronkstuk in iedere kamer. De bank is in eerste instantie ontworpen als een doorontwikkeling van de DS-140. Deze bank had al armleuningen die omgevouwen konden worden tot voetsteunen en een flexibele rug, een ware revolutie in de zit-wereld. De DS-450 is nog wat verder ontwikkeld en kan zijn armleuningen in vijf standen zetten. In de laagste stand is de armleuning vlak en wanneer u de zitting negentig graden naar voren draait, transformeert dit gedeelte in een voetenbank. Heerlijk ontspannen! Wanneer u optimaal wilt relaxen, kunt u aan een lus tussen de rugleuning en zitting trekken en verstelt u traploos de rug naar achteren. Hiermee tovert u uw bank om in een tweepersoons relaxfauteuil.
