Achieving more wonders than its predecessors, the 1867 World's Fair, organized by Napoleon III in Paris, is one of the most important World's Fairs. To bring together 32 countries and their colonies, Napoleon III innovated so that "it would be more completely universal than the previous ones," particularly by organizing it by national pavilions, which would remain the formula for future exhibitions.
