Discover the beauty of our Maserati 3500 GTI Touring. This beautiful classic car has been largely restored in the past and is now in excellent condition. It was delivered in 1962 in the same silver metallic paint as it is now.

Body in lacquer work:

The 3500 GT looks stunning in the silver metallic paint. The paint is in excellent condition and the fits of the doors, hood, and trunk lid are also very neat. There are minimal signs of use. There is no rust present as far as visible.

Technical:

The Maserati is not only visually impressive but also technically in good condition. The fuel pump has been overhauled and the fuel tank is coated with epoxy. All fuel lines and pipes have been renewed and carefully maintained. The water pump and Girling brakes have been recently overhauled, while all hoses have been replaced and a new clutch and pressure plate have been installed. The Lucas injection system functions as it should and was a huge technical innovation at the time. The release bearing of the clutch is sometimes audible, but works fine. To fix this noise, the release bearing needs to be replaced, but it is still very drivable.

Interior:

Upon opening the door, you are welcomed by the beautiful black leather interior that offers a sense of luxury and refinement. Even the carpet has been well preserved. Furthermore, there are Jaeger instruments, electric windows, and white headlining present. The precious Borrani wheels and original Voxon radio contribute to the authenticity of this stylish Maserati.

The chassis number is AM1012034 and matches the engine number. The body number from Carrozzeria Touring is No. 12257. In the trunk, you will find an original Borrani spare wheel and a tool kit. In the folder with documentation, various manuals and a parts catalog are available.

You will also find various invoices and descriptions of the Lucas injection system. With its manual transmission and a powerful 6-cylinder engine block with a displacement of 3485 cc and about 260 hp, this Maserati 3500 GTI Touring offers an unforgettable driving experience.

General information about the Maserati 3500:

The 3500 GT attracted the attention of celebrities and car enthusiasts, turning it into a status symbol. The Maserati 3500 GT has shaped the brand's history and remains an iconic car with its timeless styling, powerful engine, and luxurious appearance. Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
