VINIFICATION Partially destemmed grapes, 1 day of pre-fermentative maceration and 2 days of fermentation in cement tanks with processing at 8º Baumé Aging: 100% Oxidative for 20 years in 600-liter oak barrels. TASTING NOTES Amber color. Abundance of aromas of yellow dried fruits (peach and apricot), with notes of honey and light nuances of beeswax. Smooth and delicate palate, with notes of dried fruits. Very long and complex finish. SERVING Excellent as a starter for foie gras, candied orange desserts, crème brullé, and even as an aperitif or digestive accompanied by a good cigar. Serve at 12ºC. HISTORY Andresen is the most exclusive Wine Cellar of wood barrel-aged Port, in particular for exclusive aged dated Tawny ports. Andresen port house, under the leadership of Carlos Flores and his family, is extremely mindful of the release of their dated Tawny ports in the market, always maintaining them at a premium quality level. Andresen initiated with its white ports with age indication a new category in the Port history. And its leadership is assured by the Flores family, with Carlos Flores being an authentic “Mr. Tawny”!
