Mercedes-Benz S-Class 450 SE 1977

Body & Paintwork:

The origin of this Mercedes-Benz W116 dates back to the original Dutch delivery by Daimler-Benz A.G. on April 18, 1977. To this day, the car has had only 4 owners. The car is rust-free and is in a nice and fairly original condition. The Silbergrün metallic color with green velour upholstery inside combines beautifully. The paintwork is neat with only slight signs of use.

Technical:

The robust and powerful 4.5-liter V8 engine is paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. This beloved engine delivers 211 hp and provides a pleasant and smooth driving experience. The standard equipment included a laminated glass windshield, externally adjustable side mirrors from the inside, a height-adjustable driver's seat, a rear armrest, and power steering.

Interior:

In the interior, you feel immersed in luxury and comfort: the velvet Pullman interior is equipped with lovely, velvet-covered seats that are wonderfully soft and springy. From here, you can enjoy the beautiful details of the interior, such as inlaid wood. There is also plenty of space and luxury in the back. How could it be any different: the S-Class is the flagship model of Mercedes. Aside from a few signs of use, the interior is still in beautiful condition.

Other information:

The following optional features are originally still present: central door locking, a Becker radio, automatic antenna, air conditioning, and heat-insulating glass. The original (Dutch) instruction manual is still with the car.

Original Dutch delivered
Chic color combination: Silver-green metallic (861) with green velvet upholstery
Pullman interior
Becker radio

In short: an original Dutch, elegant and comfortable limousine sedan in a beautiful finish.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
