This is a traditional Japanese shakuhachi bamboo flute crafted in the Tozan-ryu (都山流) style, one of the two major schools of shakuhachi performance. Beautifully made from natural bamboo, the instrument displays a warm honey-gold tone with finely preserved root-end detail, showcasing both functionality and rustic beauty. The instrument is signed with two stamps: “一水” (Issui) and “竹栄竜” (Chikueiryu), indicating the maker and possibly the lineage or workshop.

The shakuhachi is a revered wind instrument in Japanese culture, known for its haunting, meditative tones and expressive depth.
