Bimota YB7 Folgore

Presentata al salone di Colonia del 1988 alla modica cifra di 25.440.000 lire,
quando una Suzuki RG 500 Gamma costava 9.900.000 lire e una Honda RC30 costava 22.202.000 lire

Costruita a mano a Rimini ma destinata al solo nel mercato giapponese, distribuita dell' importatore giapponese "Carrozzeria Japan" come da scritta sul codone.

Questo e' l'esemplare numero 13, uno dei primissimi, probabilmente destinati ai vari saloni, ha la colorazione istituzionale ed iconica Bimota, bianco-rosso-oro, la stessa usata nei vari campionati del mondo. Successivamente venne cambiata colorazione e furono prodotti solo 321 esemplari, ma con colorazione diversa.

Motore derivato dalla Yamaha FZR 400 RR. al posteriore sospensione Ohlins anteriore PRO series 1000 circuit, ogni elemento e' ricavato dal pieno, ed e' stata costruita con la stessa filosofia con la quale una piccola zienda avrebbe fatto una moto da corsa a fine anni 80.
le viti che sorreggono la carena sono cave e in alluminio ricavate dal pieno, cover serbatoio e codone sono un singolo pezzo come anche la carena intera e' un solo pezzo, tutto in composito.

30000 Km ed e' conservata mai restaurata e perfettamente funzionante
