Leica M3 body no. 972315 (1959).

Leica rangefinder camera body ("single stroke") with minimal signs of use.

According to some, the best rangefinder ever made due to the absence of frames for wide-angle lenses. It has frames for 50, 90, and 135 mm lenses. The viewfinder is bright and the frames adjust to the lens selection.

Technical and cosmetic in very good condition. Not tested with film. By ear, the shutter speeds sound reliable. Self-timer works smoothly and regularly.

At the bottom by the attachment of the base plate, a very small piece of the volcanic rock covering is missing. Very slight spotting visible on the top cover. See photos!!

The body cap and an old prospectus are attached.

NB. The displayed screen is not part of the lot.

The photos are part of the description.
The lot will be carefully packaged and shipped insured.
