Erg decoratief beeld van een clown met een appel. De clownlijkt de appel te willen kussen. Het beeld is gemaakt van polyester. Het beeld is van top tot teen 50cm hoog, de breedte is ongeveer 30cm en de diepte 30cm. Het beeld weegt ongeveer 5kg.
Het beeld is gesigneerd op de rug (zie foto's) en dateert van 1995. Het is ontworpen door de wereldberoemde Fillipijnse ontwerper Jun Asilo. Het beeld is in erg goede staat.
Waarschijnlijk hoort de appel niet origineel bij dit beeld, maar hij past wel. Een knuffeldier zou ook in de handen van de clown kunnen worden gelegd, of iets anders dat hij wil kussen of eten.

Hoewel het een clown is, bijna cartoonesk, doet de clownsfiguur heel realistisch aan. Het beeld is ook erg groot (de grootte van een flinke peuter). Het beeld verhoudt zich tot een normaal mens met ongeveer 1:3. Als je kijkt naar de details van het beeld, bijvoorbeeld de plooien van de kleding of de kraag en schoenen, dan valt op dat die heel realistisch zijn; nauwelijks van echt te onderscheiden. Ook de gelaatstrekken van de clown is erg realistisch. Hoewel deze beelden op redelijke grote schaal werden geproduceerd, zijn ze wel alle met de hand beschilderd en daarom ook uniek.
Ook de houding van dit beeld is erg mooi. Met het achterwerk en de linker voet steunt het op een (tafel)blad, en het andere beeld hangt er overheen. Heel realistisch. Het beeld is op deze manier op een tafel te plaatsen, maar ook op een rek of op een kastplank komt het beeld erg goed tot zijn recht.
Tussen je spullen staat het beeld erg realistisch maar toch met een theatrale clowneske uitdrukking; heel leuk en erg verrassend!

Dit decoratieve clownsbeeld is inpasbaar in elk interieur, en hierin een opvallend voorwerp; zeker een praatstuk!

Het beeld wordt zorgvuldig ingepakt en verzekerd verzonden.
