幸野楳嶺 Kono Bairei (1844-1895)
A Japanese painter from the late Edo period to the early Meiji period. Born in Kyoto, Japan, he studied under Nakajima Raisho 中島来章 and Shiokawa Bunrin 塩川文麟. He specializes in flower-and-bird paintings.

幸野西湖 Kono Seiko (1881-1945)
Born in Kyoto in Meiji 14 (1881). Real name is Enjiro. Father is Umelei Kono, a Japanese-style painter. His elder brother is the Japanese painter Morimoto Tokaku. He succeeded his father's footsteps because his elder brother, Tokaku, was adopted by Morimoto Gocho. Studied painting with his father and Taniguchi Kokyo. Later studied under Takeuchi Seiho. Graduated from Kyoto Municipal School of Arts and Crafts with a degree in painting.
