Moser - Joseph Hoffmann Art Deco Crystal Glass Vase in light blue coloured glass. This three-parted lay out glass vase was produced in Czechoslovakia in the city of Karlovy Vary in the 20s by the Moser and designed by Joseph Hoffmann. It is made of faceted glass standing on a square - cut base. Specific octagonal facets feature this item. Very desirable collectible vase. It is preserved in very good condition. Designed by Josef Hoffmann for The Wiener Werkstätte. Josef Hoffmann (Pirnitz 1870 – 1956 Vienna) – was an Austrian architect and designer. He was among the founders of Vienna Secession and co-establisher of the Wiener Werkstätte. His most famous architectural work is the Palais Stoclet, in Brussels, (1905–1911) a pioneering work of Modern Architecture, Art Deco and peak of Vienna Secession architecture.
