I_KONIQ (1969) - BROOK_ONE PIECE PUNK STYLE
I_KONIQ (1969) - (stage name of Lijuk Crem) is a multifaceted artist who began his journey into the world of printing and graphics in 1988. His career began in the field of offset printing until he became CEO of an important printing house in northern Italy and tripled the turnover in a few years, here he acquired a solid knowledge of printing techniques and visual dynamics.
Over the years, Lijuk has expanded his scope, exploring new artistic possibilities and ranging from pop art to visual reinterpretations of famous people. His style is distinguished by a unique fusion of pop culture, references to iconic tradition and a bold use of colors. Just as Andy Warhol did with CAMPBELL cans, or Mario Schifano with COCA-COLA, Lijuk reinterprets familiar images, elevating the ordinary to the extraordinary through the use of modern graphic techniques and visual irony.
Each of his works is a tribute to the iconography of popular culture, but at the same time, I_KONIQ manages to imprint his own personal vision, questioning and reinventing the very idea of celebrity and visual icon.
Today, Lijuk's work is a testimony to how graphic art can evolve, maintaining its communicative power intact but renewing it with a fresh and innovative look.
Each work is sold hand-signed on the front and with the work numbering (white side of the edge) so as not to ruin the beauty of the work as a whole but to give it its correct value.
The print is made using the 12-step Gicléè technique in Digital Fine Art on 380 g/m2 premium glossy cotton canvas.
To preserve the colors over time, each work is created and painted by hand with a special treatment for the lights, to enhance the colors and protect against deterioration over time.
Each artwork is shipped in a rigid cardboard tube to safeguard and protect your new purchase and in addition to the size of the artwork it includes a side edge for framing on the wooden frame calculating a side thickness of 4 centimeters and an additional external edge of over 4 cm which remains white for fixing on the back of the frame (not supplied)
All the works of our artists are the result of creative hands and different cultures even if they all come together and blend into a unique harmony.
