Jeff Koons released this miniature scale model of the original 1992 sculpture of the same name, "Puppy," in a limited edition (estimated edition of 1,000–2,500). The miniature Puppy replica consists of dried flowers placed on a plastic base (printed on the base: Jeff Koons, 1992, Handmade), the shape of which mimics the original creation (the original contents included a clear plastic display box). Koons's Puppy miniatures were handmade from real dried flowers, making them unique. Most sculptures were created with seasonal green flowers. The brighter sculptures were composed of combinations of yellow, blue, and violet flowers and were very rare; even rarer of these are a sculpture with a distinctive purple nose.
This limited release was designed by Jeff Koons and is known by art collectors today as one of the few Jeff Koons sculptures that can be displayed at home, credited for its beauty and relatively compact size.

Jeff Koons also released a miniature scale model of the original 1992 sculpture bearing the same name, “Puppy,” in a limited release of unknown edition (estimated edition of 1000-2500 units). The miniature replica Puppy comprised of dried flowers sitting atop a plastic base foundation (printed on base: Jeff Koons, 1992, handmade), shape of which mimicked the original creation (original contents included a clear plastic display box with a hand folded instruction booklet). Koons’ Puppy miniatures were handmade with real dried flowers, making each one unique. Majority of the sculptures were created with green seasonal flowers. The brighter sculptures composed of yellow, blue and purple flower combinations and were very uncommon; even more scarce of which comprised a sculpture with a distinct purple nose.
