d'este e zane - Bowl - Murano glass
No. 94164888

D’Este & Zane Art Glass was founded as Vetreria Artistica D’Este P. in 1965 by the skilled hands of master glassmaker Pacifico Mirco D’Este. Initially, production ranged mainly in the “ancient Murano” genre with chalices, cups, candlesticks, figurines, goldoniane, Moors, candle holders, 18th century Venetian style chandeliers and various objects, all hand-made with the most ancient Murano processes: filigree, zanfirico, murrina.
After 30 years of honorable career, in 1995, the master Pacifico Mirco D’Este decides to leave the reins of the company to his sons Davide and Fabiano, who with passion, mastery and innovation refine the ancient Murano working techniques handed down by their father. The years pass, times evolve and the traditional style production is gradually joined over the years by that of modern design.
In this regard, to further improve, in 2018 the master Franco Zane joins the team. Franco in his long apprenticeship has collaborated with the most established contemporary Murano glass masters such as Lino Tagliapietra, Romano Donà, Alberto Donà, and with his entry the Vetreria Artistica D’Este P. evolves and becomes D’Este & Zane Art Glass.
