Riva Ferrari 32 maquette 70 cm Bois modelisme 1:8 - Model boat - Arno Ferrari
No. 94094822

XCEPTIONAL RIVA FERRARI 32 model 70 cm Wood modelism
already assembled, ready to display
Sold with its presentation base
A symbol of luxury and refinement, these are inspired by Chris-Craft runabout boats, seen on American lakes, or even wooden racing boats such as the legendary Ferrari Arno XI.
Inspired by Formula 1
The boat was born from a collaboration in 1990 between the boat manufacturer Riva and the Maranello builder. Adorned with the famous "Rosso Corsa" red, it adopts a very racy look directly inspired by F1 and has a carbon spoiler. The model, on sale here, is the 28th example of a limited production of only 40 units. The auction house specifies that it has a sleeping cabin that has never been used and that the engines have recently been overhauled. In addition, the boat has only 78 hours of navigation under its belt.
Contrary to what one might think, the engine is not signed Ferrari. The boat nevertheless carries two 8-liter V8s developing 390 horsepower! It would thus be capable of reaching more than 100 km/h. The price to pay to sail in this Ferrari of the seas? At least €180,000, estimated by Sotheby's.
Decorative flag not included
Made entirely of wood
COLOR: Cream
STYLE: Vintage
PERIOD: 1980's
CONDITION: Good condition
COUNTRY: Italy
