The Imperial Porcelain Factory was founded in 1744 by Dmitry Ivanovich Vinogradov. In 1925, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences, it was named after the academy's founder, Mikhail Lomonosov. It became known as the Leningrad Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (LFZ - Leningradski Farforovyi Zavod imeni M.V. Lomonosova). The newly named Lomonosov Factory produced a range of wares, including these 3 collectible animal figurines of a raccoon, lion cub and panda bear.
