WMF - Pierre Cardin - Charger plate (8) - Maxim's de Paris, Rue Royale - Stainless steel - WMF Underplates

An 8 piece WMF set Cromargan (stainless steel) with gilded rim underplates. Designed by Pierre Cardin in the 1990s for WMF as part of a series of professional tableware. Cardin was one of the European designers who was invited to design a set.

Which resulted in, among other things, this set called ' Maxim's de Paris, Rue Royale '. High-gloss stainless steel with a subtle gold-plated edge. Beautiful for a large dinner.

The sizes:

The condition is good, however, the plates all have signs of use in the form of scratches, the gilding is completely intact (see photos). The scratches are not visible when used with dinner plates. The set has been individually cleaned but not yet polished. Please note that this is a heavy lot.
