Sold in the Original plastic carrier for the three issues of Les Beatles Magazine. The books had been issued individually in 1964 and were probably packaged together in this carrier for sale during the Beatles’ second visit to France in Summer 1965. Same image both sides, the plastic handles clip together.
Bags Measures 215 mm x 280 mm.
The Beatles Magazine is a serie of just three books produced for French Beatles fans. The content is borrowed from the Beatles Monthly, with the text translated and a small amount of fresh content more relevant to France, for example, a French discography and details of the French Beatles Fan Club.
The second issue, contains a continuation of Billy Shepherd’s “a Tale of Four Beatles”, plus his pieces on the Beatles in Paris and New York, letters from fans, news, French Fan Club details and discography. Dated May 1964.
The first issue introduces the Beatles and Brian Epstein, and starts Billy Shepherd’s “Tale of Four Beatles”. Dated March 1964.
The third and final issue of this French magazine. Continues and completes “a Tale of Four Beatles”, plus pieces on the film “A Hard Day’s Night”. Dated October 1964. For no apparent reason, this was the final book in the series.
