The YPPY series was technically basic, featuring standard functions such as auto-reverse, Mega Bass, Automatic Volume Limiter System (AVLS), and a normal/metal tape selector.
These models are now marketed as collector’s items due to their limited production run, unique design elements and nostalgic value.
One more thing, the YPPY series is technically not part of the Walkman line, as indicated by the model prefix YP rather than WM.
