He learned the technique of woodblock printing at the Mikumo Publishing House studio in Kyoto. From 1965 to 1970, Katsuyuki Nishijima exhibited with the artist group "Kyoto Independants 1965-1970" and also participated in solo and group exhibitions. ======== A view of Shogoin Temple in Kyoto.
