A Danish art deco bowl of quatrefoil shape by Just Andersen
The bowl is made from Disko metal, a bronze patination invented by Just and which was named after the Disko Bay in Greenland
Many has since then tried to replicate the formula as Just took the recipe with him in his grave. No one has been successful at it.
Marked Just with model no. 1460 to the base
From the book on Just Andersen it can be dated to the year 1933 (See the last two images)
Condition - In a very good condition with marks and blemishes commensurate with age
