Artist: Urashima Shuntō浦島春濤(1892-1956)born in Takaoka City in 1892. In 1907, he dropped out of the design department at Toyama Prefectural Crafts School and moved to Kyoto to study under Shunkyo Yamamoto. In Taisho 3, he was selected for the 8th Bunten for the first time. From then on, he was accepted into government exhibitions six times until the 10th Teiten Exhibition in 1929, but after that he stopped exhibiting in public exhibitions and followed his own path. During this time, he graduated from the Kyoto City Painting College in 1929. He passed away in 1955 at the age of 64.
