ERDGLOBUS diameter 21 cm. Getekend door H. Kiepert en uitgegeven door Dietrich Reimer te Berlijn in 1880.

Bol is beplakt met papieren segmenten en erg gedetailleerd qua lijnen, maar ook vele kleuren. Compleet en origineel. En heel mooi helder.
Globe heeft een natuurkundige ondergrond met een staatkundige indeling gemarkeerd door landsgrenzen. Verder zijn ook zeestromingen, gradennet, bergen, meren, rivieren etc. ingetekend. Werkelijk heel mooi en een genot voor de kaartliefhebber.
Een zeer goed bewaard gebleven exemplaar. Slecht een kleine beschadiging in het kaartblad in de Stille Oceaan (eenvoudig te restaureren). Verder is het kaartblad is compleet.
De globe ligt in een klassieke standaard die ook nog helemaal origineel en compleet is. Er is een kompas in opgenomen en de horizonring is beplakt met de verbeelding van de dierenriem.

Het geheel is een mooi decoratief en origineel stuk. Staat prachtig op tafel, side table of bureau.
